Grant County Regional Airport Joint Use Terminal and New Apron | John Day, Oregon

DESCRIPTION:  A new 2-story, 17,750 SF terminal building serving both general aviation and the U.S. Forest Service.  Other improvements included a new ±245‑foot by ±130‑foot apron located immediately west of the new terminal building. 

SERVICE:  Foundation Engineering's work included field exploration, laboratory testing, engineering analyses and development of site preparation and foundation recommendations for the new building and subgrade preparation recommendations and subgrade parameters for pavement design.  Geotechnical consultation was also provided during construction.
