DESCRIPTION: Construction is underway for a new addition and expansion of the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital. The $13M project will add 15,000 sf of new space and will include 10,000 sf of remodeled space. Twenty-one full service emergency rooms will be added, along with two full-scale operating rooms and 14 same-day surgery rooms. The original helipad was relocated to provide room for the expansion.
SERVICE: Foundation Engineering was retained by the hospital as the geotechnical consultant. Our scope of work included exploratory drilling, laboratory testing, engineering analyses, and development of recommendations for site preparation and foundation design and construction. Our work was completed on-time and under budget
