DESCRIPTION: The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians constructed a new 0.5 MG water tank to increase the storage capacity of their water supply system and meet increasing demands of the community. The new reservoir is a ±56-foot diameter, 32‑foot tall, bolted, glass-fused–to-steel tank. It is built on a wooded parcel located along Gwee-Shut Road, immediately uphill from the City of Siletz’s existing water treatment and storage facility.
SERVICE: Foundation Engineering completed a geotechnical investigation and site-specific seismic hazard study for the project. We also provided construction observations and on-site consultation during the foundation preparation for the tank.
