Foundation Engineering is seeking staff and project level engineers who are enthusiastic about the art, science, and business of geotechnical engineering.
We are looking for engineers who are as at home at the site of a landslide as they are in an office. An appreciation of our Pacific Northwest is essential, as this position will occasionally take you out in Oregon weather, and all terrain from coast to forest, desert to mountain, farm to city.
Geotechnical engineering is a hands-on field, and a strong practical knowledge is key. The successful candidates will apply their understanding of soil and rock mechanics to geotechnical engineering design using judgement, hand calculations, and engineering software.
We are a small, dynamic company and each of us plays a vital role in making and reinforcing connections; therefore, we seek applicants who are enthusiastic about meeting with our existing and potential clients. Applicants should have the background and practical experience needed to rapidly advance their geotechnical engineering skills and career through technical excellence and professional communication skills.
If you believe you are the right candidate to join our team, please submit your resume and cover letter to email@example.com. We want to know what sparks your curiosity, so in your cover letter provide an example of a site visit you found interesting and why.
